Account Registration: Certain features of ToolByte may require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (full name, email address), maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current, and not create accounts using false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password), all activities that occur under your account whether or not authorized by you, and immediately notifying us at legal@duodev.in if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

Account Data: When you create an account, we collect and store:
• Full Name — For account identification and personalization
• Email Address — For authentication, communications, and account recovery
• Password — Stored in securely hashed format (bcrypt); we never have access to your plaintext password

Account Termination by User: You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our data retention policy, any preferences and settings associated with your account will be permanently deleted, and anonymized, aggregated data derived from your usage may be retained for analytics purposes.

Account Suspension or Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or any of our other policies, we reasonably believe your account has been compromised, we are required to do so by law or a government order, or continued provision of the Service to you is no longer commercially or legally viable.

In summary, you agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or other users' accounts
• Transmit malware, viruses, worms, trojans, or any destructive or malicious code
• Abuse, harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our prior written permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the Service

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our content without our prior written consent, except your browser may temporarily store copies of materials in RAM or cache as part of normal website access, and you may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

ToolByte Branding: "ToolByte," the ToolByte logo, and "Duo Dev Technologies" are trademarks of Duo Dev Technologies. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

User Content: You retain full ownership of any content you submit to, input into, or process through our tools. By using our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the requested tool functionality. This license automatically terminates when we finish processing your content.

Open Source Components: ToolByte may incorporate open-source software components, each subject to its own license terms. A list of open-source components and their licenses is available upon request by contacting legal@duodev.in.

No Storage of Processed Content: Unless explicitly stated for a specific feature, we do NOT store the content you process through our tools. Tool processing occurs in real-time on the server, and your input/output content is not retained after the processing request is completed.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you process through our tools does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy, or other legal rights of any third party, reviewing and validating all tool output before using it in any production, commercial, or critical application, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the content you process.

Prohibited Content: You must not process content through our tools that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of privacy, infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party, contains software viruses or any other code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of computer software or hardware, or violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Duo Dev Technologies, its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and legal costs) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of or access to the Service
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
• Your violation of any intellectual property, privacy, or other right of any third party
• Any content you submit to or process through the Service
• Any dispute between you and any third party arising from your use of the Service

This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Jurisdiction: Subject to the arbitration clause below, any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Dispute Resolution: Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least thirty (30) days after written notice of the dispute is provided. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), as amended. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent, with the seat of arbitration in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. The language of arbitration shall be English.

Waiver of Class Actions: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

By You: You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have a registered account, you may delete it through your account settings or by contacting us at legal@duodev.in.

By Us: We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policy. The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Dispute Resolution, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion.

When we make changes:
• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
• For material changes, we will provide at least 15 days' notice before the new terms take effect, via a prominent notice on our website or email notification (for registered users)
