2. Delete Your Account #
If you created a RunRoute account (with email or Google), you can permanently delete it and its data in any of these ways:
1. In the app: open Profile > Delete Account and confirm.
2. On the website while signed in: open Profile Settings > Delete Account, type your account email to confirm, and submit.
3. On the web, without the app or a password: visit https://runroute.duodev.in/account/delete, enter your account email, open the confirmation link we email you (valid for 60 minutes), and select Delete permanently.
When you delete your account, we permanently delete:
1. Your account data: name, email address, hashed password (if any), and linked Google sign-in identifier.
2. All activity sessions synced to our servers, including recorded GPS route points.
3. Your synced health and fitness profile (age or birth date, gender, height, weight, goals, and preferences).
4. Your achievement progress.
5. All sign-in tokens and website sign-in sessions, so every device and browser is signed out.
When you delete from the app, all RunRoute data on that device is also erased and the app returns to its first-launch state.

3. When Data Is Deleted #
1. Server data is deleted immediately once the deletion is confirmed.
2. Residual copies in backups are removed within 30 days, when those backups expire.
3. We keep a minimal record that a deletion took place: an irreversible code that cannot be traced back to your name or email, how the deletion was requested (app, website, or support), and when. It contains no personal data.
4. We do not retain any of the data listed in Section 2 after that.

4. Delete Local Data Only (Guest Mode or Signed-In) #
You can delete data stored on your device without deleting an account:
1. Clear All Data (Settings): removes locally stored profile, sessions, saved routes, achievements, and notifications.
2. Data Retention (Settings): automatically removes sessions older than your selected retention period.
3. Uninstalling the app removes app data from the device according to your device or platform behavior.
Clearing local data does not delete data already synced to your account. To delete synced data, delete your account as described in Section 2.
