This is a product-specific policy. In case of any conflict between this policy and our Common Policies, this product-specific policy shall prevail for the applicable product.

1. Overview

At DD Tailors, we respect your right to privacy and data ownership. You may request the deletion of your personal data and any business data associated with your account at any time. This page explains exactly what data we hold, how you can request its deletion, and what happens once the process is complete.

DD Tailors is developed and maintained by Duo Dev Technologies. We are committed to handling all data deletion requests promptly, transparently, and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Important: Deletion of your account is permanent and irreversible. All your data, orders, customers, measurements, inventory, and billing records stored within your workspace will be permanently erased. Please ensure you have exported any data you may need before proceeding.

2. What Data We Collect

DD Tailors collects and stores data across two categories: User Account Data tied to your personal login, and Business / Store Data associated with your tailoring shop workspace.

User Account Data:
• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Profile avatar / photo
• Social login IDs (Google, Facebook, X)
• Account creation date & login logs
• Notification preferences
• Role & permission assignments

Business / Store Data:
• Store name, logo & contact details
• Customer profiles & contact info
• Orders & billing records
• Customer measurements & garment data
• Inventory items & stock levels
• Staff profiles & attendance records
• Subscription & payment history
• Uploaded files, photos & documents

3. Deletion Options

Depending on your role in DD Tailors, you have different data deletion options available to you:

A — Store Admin / Business Owner:
You can delete your personal account AND your entire store/business workspace including all customers, orders, staff, and records. This is a full wipeout of all data associated with your business on DD Tailors.

S — Staff / Sub-user:
You can request deletion of your personal user account. Your profile will be removed from the system. Business data (orders, customers) that you created within the store will remain under the store admin's account, as it belongs to the business.

4. Delete Your Account

You can delete your personal DD Tailors account directly from within the application. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account — Go to the DD Tailors app and sign in with your credentials.
2. Navigate to Account Settings — Click on your profile avatar or name in the top navigation bar, then select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
3. Scroll to the Danger Zone — Scroll down within your account settings page to find the Delete Account section at the bottom of the page.
4. Confirm your identity — You will be asked to confirm your password or re-authenticate to verify your identity before deletion proceeds.
5. Confirm deletion — Click Delete My Account in the confirmation dialog. Your account will be scheduled for deletion immediately.

Export Your Data First: Before deleting your account, we strongly recommend exporting any reports, invoices, or customer data you may need later. Go to Reports in the sidebar to download your data. Once deleted, recovery is not possible.

5. Delete Store / Business Data

If you are a Store Admin (business owner), deleting your account will also trigger the deletion of your entire store workspace. However, if you only want to delete your business workspace while retaining your user account, you can do so separately from the store settings.

1. Go to Store Settings — From the sidebar, navigate to Settings → Store Settings to access your business workspace configuration.
2. Locate the Delete Store section — Scroll to the bottom of store settings to find the Delete Store option under the danger zone.
3. Confirm and submit — Type the store name and click Delete Store to confirm. All store data will be permanently removed. Your user login account will remain active.

Note: Only the Store Admin (the account that created the workspace) can delete the store. Staff members cannot delete store-level data.

6. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account or store, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems:

User Profile:
• Name, email, phone
• Profile photo / avatar
• Social login connections (Google, Facebook, X)
• Notification preferences & settings

Customers & Contacts:
• All customer profiles
• Customer contact information
• Family member records
• Customer notes & tags

Orders & Billing:
• All order records
• Invoices & bills
• Payment records
• Order status history

Measurements & Garments:
• All customer measurements
• Garment type configurations
• Measurement templates
• Garment history data

Inventory:
• All inventory items
• Stock & quantity data
• Inventory categories
• Barcode / sticker records

Staff & Attendance:
• Staff member profiles
• Attendance records
• Staff group & role assignments
• Staff salary / payment data

Store Data:
• Store profile & logo
• Store address & contact numbers
• Store settings & configurations
• Connected store accounts

Files & Media:
• Uploaded bill photos
• Customer photos
• Store logo & brand assets
• Generated PDF invoices

7. Data That May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, we may be required to retain certain data even after deletion to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes. Such retained data is kept securely and is never used for marketing or shared with third parties.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance:
Subscription payment records, invoices, and financial transaction logs may be retained for up to 7 years as required under Indian GST and accounting regulations. This data is stored in a minimal, anonymized manner wherever possible.

Security & Fraud Prevention:
Aggregate, anonymized security logs (IP addresses, login attempts) may be retained for a limited period to protect against fraudulent activity and ensure platform security. These logs do not contain identifiable personal information.

Support Communications:
If you have previously contacted our support team, those communication records (emails, tickets) may be retained for internal reference for up to 1 year after account deletion.

Aggregated Analytics:
Completely anonymized, aggregated platform usage statistics that cannot be linked back to any individual user or business may be retained to improve our service.

8. Staff / Sub-users

DD Tailors supports multi-user workspaces where a Store Admin can add staff members with different roles and permissions. Here is how data deletion works for staff-level accounts:

When a Staff Member Requests Account Deletion:
• Their personal user profile (name, email, phone, avatar) is permanently deleted.
• Their access to the store workspace is immediately revoked.
• Their attendance records, salary records, and staff group associations are removed.
• Orders, bills, and customer records they created belong to the store (not the individual staff member) and will remain under the store admin's business data.

When a Store Admin Removes a Staff Member:
• The staff member's access to the store is revoked immediately.
• The staff member's DD Tailors user account is not deleted — only their association to your store is removed. They can still log in if linked to other stores.
• Business data created by the staff member within your store remains intact and belongs to your store.

9. Processing Time

We are committed to processing all data deletion requests promptly. Here are the timelines you can expect:

• Account deletion (in-app): Account deactivated instantly — Full completion within 30 days
• Store / workspace deletion: Access revoked instantly — Full completion within 30 days
• Manual deletion request (email): Acknowledgement within 48 hours — Full completion within 30 days of confirmation
• Cloud backups & caches: Flagged for deletion — Cleared within 90 days

After submitting a deletion request, you will receive a confirmation email. Once processing is complete, a final confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.

10. Manual Deletion Request

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to submit a manual data deletion request, you can contact us directly. Manual requests are handled within the same timelines as in-app deletions.

Email Request:
Send an email to support@duodev.in with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the following in your email:
• Your registered email address
• Your store/business name (if applicable)
• The scope of deletion: account only, store only, or both
• Reason for deletion (optional, but helps us improve)

Alternatively, use our Contact Us page and select "Account / Data Deletion" as the subject. Our support team will acknowledge your request within 48 business hours.
